Easter Holiday Activities Wrexham
Easter Holiday Activities Wrexham
OK so Easter holidays always feel like a mini Summer half term, like there is some sort of pressure to entertain the kids more and make more memories, or maybe that’s just me, it’s a time where I limit bookings mid-week to spend that extra time with my daughter.
So I thought I’d share some fun activities with you that may be worth a visit with your little ones.
So here they are 🙂
Wrexham
Number One
Get Outside
I’m an outdoor girl, there is nothing I love more, I love it so much I made the outdoors my workspace and the best thing about it is it changes daily this time of year.
So get outside in nature and see what bugs and animals are waking up, watch the birds collect nesting materials, see what flowers are waking up and let the kids run wild 🙂
Maybe even build a bug hotel

Plant summer seeds in egg boxes
I’m a big advocate for planting in recyclable materials, this year I’m joining Monty Don and cutting plastic out where ever I can in the Overthrow household.
In the garden, we will be planting our seeds in either egg boxes or a DIY toilet roll pots.
The plus side to this is you can pop the egg box or loo roll straight into the ground and it will biodegrade over time.
I’m also swapping old broken planters for terracotta planters and we have even recycled an old tire into a planter for our hostas.
Simple ideas for recycled planters for seedlings can be found here on youtube.
